To redirect your Homestead domain, you can set up Domain Forwarding within your account settings. This will automatically send visitors to your new URL. [1, 2]
Steps to set up a Domain Redirect
Log in to your Homestead Account Manager.
Click Launch next to Domains.
Select the domain name you want to redirect.
Click Forward, then select Forwarding Domains.
Click Add Forwarding.
Enter the destination URL (the new website address).
Choose a 301 (Permanent) redirect so search engines update their records to your new domain, then click Save. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Note: DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes up to 48 hours to fully take effect across the internet. [1]
Alternative Method: Changing Site Association
If you are simply moving your domain to a different website you created within the same Homestead account, you don't need to set up a forward. You can simply change the site association: [1, 2]
Click the Domains link in your left navigation menu.
Scroll to your domain name and click Change Site Association.
Select the website you want the domain to point to from the drop-down menu.
