How do I setup POP email using Outlook 2011 for Mac OS X(Mavericks)?

Here are the settings for a POP account using Outlook 2011 for MacIf you would like to know more about the difference between IMAP and POP, then please click here.

1) Open Outlook and go to the Tools menu and click on Accounts.


2) Click on E-mail Account


3) Fill out the settings as follows, using your own email address and password.
Make sure to check Override default port and Use SSL on both the incoming and outgoing
Incoming settings:
Server: pop.homestead.com
Port: 995 
Outgoing settings:
Server: smtp.homestead.com
Port: 465
Click Add Account



 4) Click on More options.

 
5) Again, fill the information out as follows and click Ok. You're done!
