How do I setup IMAP email on my Android device using k-9 mail?

If you aren't sure of the difference between POP and IMAP and why you would use one or the other, please click here.

A welcome screen will pull up with K-9 Features. Click Next
Choose IMAP
Input your email address and password, click Manual Setup:
Input:

IMAP server: imap.homestead.com
Security: SSL/TLS
Port: 993
Username: full email address
Authentication: Normal password
Password

Click Next
Input SMTP server: smtp.homestead.com
Security: SSL/TLS
Port: 465
Username: full email address
Authentication: Normal password
Password

Click Next
Set preferences and click Next:
Input your preferences and click Done:
You can now see your email in the K-9 Mail App!
