"Submit" button

I have created an online form and would like to add a "Submit" button, but I do not know how to do this at the present time. I've previously had one, but it stopped working, so I need a workaround.

To add a "Submit" button to a custom form in Homestead's Sitebuilder Plus, open your website editor, click the "Insert" menu, select "More," and choose "Build a Custom Form". The submit button is typically included by default, but you can configure its label, action, and appearance within the form settings, or add one using the "Button" tool if needed.

Steps to Add/Ensure a Submit Button in Homestead:
  • Access the Editor: Log in to your Homestead website management portal and select "Edit Site".
  • Locate the Form: Click on the form you have already created on your page to bring up the form editing options.
  • Add Button: If a button is missing, select the "Button" element from the toolbar within the form builder to add it.
  • Configure Button: Select the button and customize its text (e.g., "Submit" or "Send") and action (e.g., submitting form data to your email).
  • Save and Publish: Save your changes and click the Publish button for the button to appear on your live site.

Important Notes:
  • Homestead forms primarily handle contact information. If you need advanced functionality, such as file uploads (e.g., resumes), you may need to use a third-party form generator, according to community discussions.
  • Ensure all required form fields are properly set up so the submit button functions correctly.

@russell5607 Hi Russell! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly with an actionable response. I was able to get the Order Form configured with the 'Submit' button successfully, and have tested it out. Everything is now working as I wished, so I really appreciate the help!
