How do i host a new domain on your homestead website service?
To host a new domain on Homestead, log in to your account, navigate to the Domains tab, and select "Use a Domain You Already Own" to enter your domain. Update your domain registrar's nameservers to point to Homestead, or configure the A records to secure.pageserve.co. Ensure you associate the domain with the correct website in the site manager.
Steps to Host a New Domain on Homestead:
Add New Site: If you are building a new site, go to the "Websites Manager," click "Add New Website," and name your site.
Register or Map Domain:
New Domain: In the Domains tab, use the "Get a New Domain" search box to register a new domain directly.
Configure DNS (Mapping): To connect a domain registered elsewhere, map your domain name by setting the nameservers to Homestead's, or set the www CNAME record to secure.pageserve.co in your Advanced DNS Settings.
Publish Your Site: Once the domain is linked, you can publish your new website using the newly connected domain.
If you would like to purchase a new domain through Homestead:
Log in to your account.
Go to Domains > Get a New Domain.
Check the availability and follow the instructions to complete the purchase.
Once you have successfully registered a new domain with Homestead, please allow up to 24 hours for the domain to fully register in HMS. Note: you can register only one domain per day.
If you purchased your domain outside of Homestead (HMS), please manage it directly with your registrar.
Go to the Domain Central tab with your registrar provider if you purchased the domain name from another company.
Then edit the Name Servers and point them to:
ns3.homestead.com
ns4.homestead.com
After making the changes, please wait for propagation.
