Where is homestead support?
Multiple problem posts, particularly in regards to email issues (which I also am having), but no responses. I've been with Homestead since it's founding and Homestead really needs to refocus its' efforts on progress, innovation and support.

It doesn't look like they are responding to any posts - this is very concerning. We are also having email issues and posted last week and have gotten no response.

So, for any users looking for help on rejected messages. I finally got tired of waiting and just reached out to phone support, who I was able to reach immediately. The rep looked at my account and apparently, he said that the system was rejecting my password because its age. He had me change my password and voila! it worked. Unfortunately, the system doesn't seem to be notifying users that their password needs to be reset. Hopefully, this will work for many of the other users experiencing issues.
To reset your password, go into your homestead account and click the "Email" tab on the left. Once there, select the domain (if applicable) and then select the email address that needs the password changed. Next, select "Edit Mailbox" and the option to change your password will be at the top. Next click "Save" and then all you need to do is update the password on your service. Good luck!
He also sent me the current homestead email settings to use, just in case. I have included them below.
Email Client Settings
There are many email clients out there that can be configured to check your Homestead mail. Below are some links to some popular clients you can use. They have detailed instructions on how to configure each one, with screenshots. If you have another email client which is not listed below, the settings below will work on nearly all email programs.
For IMAP
Username = Email Address
Password = your email password
Incoming server = imap.homestead.com
Outgoing server = smtp.homestead.com
Incoming port = 993
Outgoing port = 465
Turn the encryption/SSL setting to the On position for both incoming and outgoing
Important: If you experience problems receiving email, you can change the encryption/SSL setting to the Off position, and change the incoming port to 143 and change the outgoing port to 587
For POP
Username = Email Address
Password = your email password
Incoming server = pop.homestead.com
Outgoing server = smtp.homestead.com
Incoming port = 995
Outgoing port = 465
Turn the encryption/SSL setting to the On position for both incoming and outgoing
Important: If you experience problems receiving email, you can change the encryption/SSL setting to the Off position, and change the incoming port to 110 and change the outgoing port to 587
If you aren't sure of the difference between POP and IMAP and why you would use one or the other, please click here. If you have a different client and would like instructions, please ask. We will see if we can accommodate the request.
Important Note: Software changes rapidly. If you see a future version of something we are missing, let us know. We will see if we can get it done. Keep in mind, newer versions often look the same or similar. Our settings are not changing, so you may be able to make it work
