IMAP Email Setup: Outlook 2011- Mac OS X

If you aren't sure of the difference between POP and IMAP and why you would use one or the other, please click here.

1. Open Outlook and click on Tools, then Accounts.
   
   
   
   
2. Click on E-mail Account.
   
   
   
   
3. Fill out the settings, using your email address and password. Make sure to use the custom port and use 465. Check the box for Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
   Click Add Account.
   
   
   
   
4. Click More Options
   
   
   
   
5. Fill in your email address and password. Make sure you select the Authentication User Name and Password. Click OK and you are done.
