Gmail is blocking my outgoing emails

Hi,

Gmail is blocking my outgoing mail and sends the following message:

host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [142.250.102.27]

SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined end of data:

550-5.7.26 This mail is unauthenticated, which poses a security risk to the

550-5.7.26 sender and Gmail users, and has been blocked. The sender must

550-5.7.26 authenticate with at least one of SPF or DKIM. For this message,

550-5.7.26 DKIM checks did not pass and SPF check for [avalonliteraryreview.com

550-5.7.26 ] did not pass with ip: [66.96.185.4]. The sender should visit

    550-5.7.26  https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#authentication for

550 5.7.26 instructions on setting up authentication. qc21-20020a170906d8b500b0093189a13aabsi20002499ejb.368 - gsmtp

How can I authenticate my domain name so this doesn't happen?

Thanks.

@john6969 Not yet. I've seen several other posts on this issue. I think the solution is for Homestead to update something in the domain settings. It looks like someone from their tech support department keeps an eye on these posts and will go in and make the change and then comment on the thread. If that doesn't happen in the next day or so I'm going to try calling them. I think their number is 800-710-1998.

Hello,

Can you go ahead and try once more? I have updated the TXT SPF record for your domain which should allow it to begin working properly.

is this a txt record we can add ourselves via advanced dns in the domain manager? if so, a how to post would be ideal for the community!

Yes, and we do have a post in Community with the proper records:

I am having the same problem as well. I posted this issue a month ago and thought it was fixed as I was able to send to Gmail accounts and now it is happening again.

You would update this under the Advanced DNS settings of your domain, under the Domains tab in your account.
