Is there a way to suspend my website temporarily?

Until I can figure out how to add Captcha is there a way to suspend the website temporarily? I have an issue with the site being used to test credit cards and until I can add Captcha or similar I want to make it unavailable.  Thank you.

Yes, you can temporarily take your Homestead website offline by unpublishing your main index page through the file manager or by swapping your homepage with a temporary 'Under Construction' file.
