Change on account owner

My coworker passed away. I have successfully logged in and changed the contact information and email ID, but can I avert having to pay any outstanding balance? He passed away in March, but had been in and out of the hospital for months prior to that. I was unaware that there was even a website for us, until I spent time combing through notes.  In the account information, it shows an outstanding balance even though the account wasn't accessible to the business, nor was the coworker who passed even working during the times specified. 

Am I better off creating a new domain entirely, or is there a way to address this issue and let us move forward with any future subscription payments, while also keeping the domain?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello, 

I'm sorry for the late response. In reviewing the account, it actually looks like the account hasn't been attempting billing since April 2023. I'll need to submit a ticket regarding this, and then we can look into what payment agreement can be made.
