Are there any plans for Homestead/Intuit Websites to begin offering database support/hosting to allow for more dynamic websites?

I've been with/used Homestead services since 2005. I've enjoyed each advancement in the software and products throughout the years. The support (second tier) has always been great to work with. Very helpful and knowledgeable of their products and services.

There are requirements for websites nowadays that are becoming standards and if a website does not include certain dynamic elements... they are obsolete and can deffer traffic/business.

I've come to an unfortunate situation that unless Homestead/Intuit websites begins to offer such services... I'll have to move the majority of my content to another host. Which often leads to the complete transfer of account (domains/sites/emails... everything).

If there is intentions to move in the direction to offer such services, I'll gladly wait (for a little bit) but if not... off we go.

Given the fact Sitebuilder desktop is hardly working for many of us and the fact Homestead is pushing us off on the joke "sitebuilder plus".....Looks like "Homestead" is going down in flames.

Probably time to start moving?

Hello Todd,

That is a great question. At this time our system still does not support a database platform. Homestead is rapidly growing and in the coming months it's likely that you'll see a variety of new products and services available. This is something we hope to offer in the future!
