Started receiving a lot!!!! spam.

Recently, in the last few weeks, I started receiving a lot of, all kind, sales offers, including sexual offers. I want to know what you did or didn't do to prevent that. I am Homestead client for many years. Not receiving spam was one of the pluses to keep my domain with Homestead. I spend now approximately an hour a day to create filters. What else can I do to correct the situation, except moving my domain to somebody else?
