Some functions are not operational

I am working on existing pages, trying to make some changes. I am unable to use arrows keys to move a item. I am unable to extend the space of text. In some cases, I cannot move an item using my mouse. I've tried Safari (I'm on a MAC) and Firefox. I've been altering pages on my website for several days without problems. Will these features be working soon?
