No, this did NOT help.  I can add only one blank page, which I have already used.
It won't let me use a second blank page.......

Hi Jim,  It will let you ad as man as you wish. You just need to change the name from "blank" to something new.

Didn't help. It will not allow me to indicate that I want the page added to the navigation menu.

How can a add a sub-page to a page?.

I would like to add a page to an existing page, for example: http://example.com/page1/page2.html but the only way I can find for adding pages is to have them show as http://example.com/page1.html and then http://www.example.com/page2.html.

I'm not paying anybody for SEO as I feel that it's absurd to do so, and not having the ability to have sub-pages is detrimental to SEO.

Do any of you know if I can do this on Homestead, or should I just learn and use Wordpress. This service is becoming frustrating, although it's easier than anything I've used before.

How to add new page style for new pages..

When you create a new page you get to choose a style template or blank page. How do I add to the page style list so I can choose the same style for many pages without having to recreate the page from scratch every time?

Edward4119,

When you get to step #3 above, you have the choice of choosing one of the template pages, or a blank page. Just choose one of the template pages.

How do you make a new template to choose from is the question.

You can't choose a new template unless you start a whole new site. If you are wanting to mix pages of two different templates into one site that is not possible. Choosing a new template will completely wipe out your site, but if you wish to do so, you will find the option on the Websites Manager page after you log in.

No, not trying to change the website template. I want to add a page style to choices in step 3 above. I don't want to have to choose blank page every time and the index style is not what I want either. I need to make a new style so I don't have edit every new page with hundreds of changes.

The only choice is to choose "blank" or, one of the other template pages in the drop-down menu, or design one from scratch.

how to "design one from scratch"? Can I create a new choice for the drop down?

That is what you would generally use "blank" for. To start completely from scratch just select all content on the page and click the delete button and you'll have a clean slate to start with.

how do i start with a blank pager for my home page ?

Randolph7337,  when you get to step # 3 above, it will give you an option to start with a blank page.  If the base template has elements, on it you don' wish to use and you want it 100% blank, you can do a "Ctrl +a"  and press the delete button to delete any unwanted elements.  Then if the background needs to be changed you will do that under the Page Settings button.

Let me know if you still have questions or need help with any of the steps.

How do I add a page to my URL? For example, I want to add /shortcourse2015/ to www.asgilmourjr.com so that I can direct people to a page or pages describing a short course?

Alexander3215,   Just follow the steps here.  When you get to #3 and are adding the page name just name it "shortcourse2015".
