Hi

How do we go about getting a ssl certificate to make our website secure as we require this for a medical survey which we have to host.

Hello Nancy0554,

Our system doesn't allow for individual SSL certificates to be installed, however, you can use a 3rd party form, like jotform.com, or another, that will allow you to create secure forms to collect private data.

Hope this helps.

Hi Drew

We need to host the secure form eg https://www.DCOutreach.org/solvethepuzzle. Is there no way of getting a individual ssl certificate for our website? Would we need to change to a different host provider? What would the implications for this be?
Thanks
Tony

If you can't, or don't want to use a 3rd party site such as Jotform, then you would just need to open up an account with another hosting company that allows you to install your own SSLs.  If this is the only page that needs to be secured, you wouldn't necessarily have to transfer your whole site and domain though. You could simply build that one page with the other company and link customers to that URL.

If you anticipate having needing multiple pages with SSLs, then you may consider moving/rebuilding the site on that companies platform which would of course be much more work.
