Need help pointing homestead to new website on wix.

would appreciate some help/tips to know if i did it correctly. i dont want to disturb my emails accounts so all im trying to do is point homestead to my new website on wix. wix had me change my CNAME and an A record. on my homestead interface i went to advanced dns setting and change the cname that started with (www) mydomain.com and then i changed the A record that started with the @ symbol then mydomain.com.. did i do this right?
