I am trying to log in to my email and get a message that says Invalid Credentials.(Resolved)

Some email users are receiving an Invalid credentials error when attempting to log in to their email. We are aware of the problem and are investigating the cause, but you can fix the problem by resetting your email password.

1:15pm MST:  The email accounts that were affected had old passwords that did not comply with the current minimum password requirements.  Below is a link explaining the requirements.

CAN'T GET INTO EMAIL AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS.


I have not been able to get into my email all day. I log in and get an error message--"Invalid Credentials." I have been on hold with technical support for a long time. Too long.

Yes, thanks to all for the solutions. I just can't understand why Homestead would not give a customer some kind of advance notice that their email password has suddenly been deemed "too weak"  before just locking them out with the cryptic message "invalid credentials." It took half of a work day to get this resolved. Time is money for a small business like me, and this is just one of many examples of the incompetency  and unreliability of this email platform. It's getting to be quite infuriating and quite not worth the daily "surprise" email glitches. Sorry about the rant. I appreciate everyone's help.

I still can't get on mail.  I tried to change my password to match your "NEW" criteria and it still gives me that  unhelpful message.  Please fix your platform.  It seem like every tow weeks I have a problem with your email.  I do not trust your email. All I can say is that it is a good thing that I have all mail also sent to my gmail account.  I can depend on google.

 It's an automated setting designed to protect you. The system identifies when your account has been hacked and used to send massive amounts of spam. When that occurs, the system automatically scrambles your password to help stop the hacker and prevent you from getting blacklisted.
