I try to publish a page.  I get "Problem occurred when uploading file".  When I open the problem it says: "Error HTTP 400, bad request.  IE was able to connect but web page not found because of address problem".  What is going on with this????

Now that a day has gone by, try again, though this being Monday the techs might only be getting around to the fix later today so if you still have the problem tomorrow, then you'll need to try the fix at your end.

First step, make sure the address of your page is legal, and that it references the page you want.

Next step, I don't know. But swithing from IE to something else might help.

Thanks for the reply.  I am running firefox as my default browser.  I too notice the message mentions IE.....how do I get my website functions out of IE control and into firefox?  (windows 10, IE 11).  Also, i found out that if I just close that message box it will continue to update some more and then the message again.  I close the message box, it updates some more and then the message again.  Doing this repeatedly will get the page updated and on line.

To Keith5330: Sounds tedias, but if it works...

Don't really know how to switch browsers, but think it's like this: download and install Chrome from Google. Somewhere it will ask if you want Chrome as your default browser. Click yes.

Keith5330, it looks like you only publish from Sitebuilder desktop. Is that correct? You may need to do a clean install of the program.

Drew, I think I have downloaded sitebuilder Plus??  Here is what is on my computer:
"SiteBuilderLPXLauncher.exe", this will not open, says to contact Homestead.
"SiteBuilderLPXLauncherupdated.exe".  This will not open, says to contact Homestead.
"SiteBuilderSetup.exe".  This will open my sign in page for editing and works.
"SiteBuilderLPX.exe".  This gives me the message "SiteBuilder has stopped working".

Have you run this repair? https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/windows-10-and-sitebuilder-desktop

You might have to do this every time Windows updates. You may also have to go in to the programs and enable .NET 3.5 manually. On new machines it is not enabled. They can also turn it off with an update.

Yes, I have done all of that.  I did it again and it asks if I want to replace the previous download and I click yes.
The latest problem is when trying to open a page it says my memory is running low to contact ?  It will not load the page and Sitebuilder closes.  Really getting frustrated here.  I tried going back to my old computer and that isno longer an option.  I removed sitebuilder from the old computer and turned it off.  I need to get this new computer and Sitebuilder working!  New computer has 5GB hard drive (old computer had 1.45GB); new computer has 8B RAM, twice as much as old computer.  I do not believe the message saying I am running out of memory....not on this end anyway.  How about on your end?  Memory a problem there?

It shouldn't be a problem on our end. I am guessing it is more an issue of the age of Sitebuilder desktop. Is the replace previous download a Sitebuilder message. If you uninstall and manually delete the files, you should not see that message.

You may also consider calling support and asking them to remotely install it for you using join.me.

I called support and the lady installed SiteBuilderPlus on my Windows 10 computer.  It seems to be working fine.  I have way too many items in my File Manager which I am in the process of deleting.  Hopefully when I get rid of all the images I no longer need things will speed up.  I will also speed up as I get familiar with the new procedures.  Thanks.
