Clicking on the company name does not allow me to change it. I put something in as a placeholder and now I can't change it. Would appreciate any help you can provide. A) Homestead shouldn't force us to add a company name, B) Homestead shouldn't force us to add an email address. C) If Homestead forces us to add anything, it should be easy to change it.

Sharon, If you are referring to the footer at the bottom of the page, go to settings and edit  the information.

Thanks - No, I know how to take that off. It's when you create a new website and they force you to enter company information once you've chosen a template. That information then permeates all of the places where "contact" info is used, but it also named the home page with that company name, but it's not the name I want on that page. I can't click on it and edit it. I thought it was due to element layering or something. I have been using Homestead for 10 years so am pretty good with the app. I can't change the name on the home page in this template, nor remove the placeholder phone number, which isn't even a real number. :-)

Everything can be changed. Which site is it you are working on? If it is a new template, click the button between page settings and Insert to edit the items on the master page.
