HELP! I cannot sign in to edit my website.

HELP! I cannot sign in to edit my website. This is the message that I get when I click edit site: Syncronize file, the local and published versions of this file are different, both files have changed, index.xpf I am give 2 links: view published copy and view local copy, both links give me error messages and will not connect.
