Hacker asking for money. I receive emails from what appears to be one of my email accounts

I keep receiving emails from a hacker asking for money (bitcoins) when I receive emails, it appears as it was sent from one of my own email addresses. I already changed the password, I already erased and re did the account and still receiving this stupid messages I want to get rid off. What do I need to do? Is there a security problem with homestead hosting?
