e-mails still slow to arrive

Someone sent me an e-mail on Saturday around noon. I could tell from the time stamp. I didn't receive it until Sunday. Received other e-mails between those  two times so it wasn't my server. This is a BIG ISSUE since it is work related.  Isn't the first time its happened and last time I complained  you said the issue had been resolved.  So tired of this. 


Also started a thread a month or so ago regarding .gifs in the thumbnail gallery looking weird.  Was told that a programmer would look into that. The thread I started has since disappeared and nothing has been done to fix the problem.
