How do you change the paypal account on the website. Right now, the website sends the buyer to paypal site A, but I would like the buyer to paypal site B. Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi C.L.3549,

You can change the associated PayPal account from the Websites Manager page. When you log in, click Websites Manager on the left side of your screen, then click the More link and the Manage PayPal link like shown below. The next screen will prompt you with a field to change the PayPal email address.

On the next screen, just enter the email address you used, when you registered with PayPal.

Kathleen5700,

I see you have a product entered now. When you insert a Paypal button, then on the right side in the properties editor you can select that product from the drop down menu. This assigns that product to the button.
Strange, the "donate" link i added to my website connects to a PayPal account that i set up, but when i follow the instructions above, Manage PayPal is not in the list of choices. What do you recommend I do?

Because you have the SimpleStore, you will need to click Ecommerce from the left hand menu, then click on thePayments link which will appear at the top of the page. You will then see a field which shows which paypal account/email address you have it connected to.

Paypal Registration Process is not clear.

I am trying to follow the instructions on adding paypal to my account and I can't get there. the instuctions are as follows PayPal Elements

Error: there is no PayPal account connected to this website

You must have a PayPal Business* account connected to your website to use PayPal Elements.

To connect your PayPal Business account to your website:

Click the Home icon on the left side of your SiteBuilder screen.
Click the My Account link. You will be logged into your website account.
Click the My Websites tab.
Click Show website options in the middle of the My Websites page.
Click the Manage this site's PayPal link.
Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account in the PayPal email address field and click Update.

There is no "My websites tab to begin with, and it leads me to believe that if selling 10 or fewer products - the service is free other than the transaction fee, is that correct?

the homestead instructions for merging my paypal account with my website make absolutely no sense at all. I have been trying to do this for sometime. The paypal button does not show up on each individual item, only on the whole page which I am sure my customers do not want to buy.

Kathleen5700,

You can't add any buttons until you connect your Paypal account by using the instructions above. After you do that, then you need to add your products via the product manager. Above the place you enter the email address, you will see a link that reads Add and manage products. It is there that you will add the product information. Then, when you add a button to the page, on the right side, there will be a drop down menu that allows you to select the defined product that you are assigning to that button. Then you can move the button anywhere you like on the page.

PayPal Commerce
If you’re selling 10 or fewer products or services online, you could use PayPal.
Customers that purchase from your site just click the PayPal button to buy items using a single payment.
