Can't edit nameservers -- keeps overriding with default nameservers

I am trying to transfer my domain  from Homestead to GoDaddy and in order to initiate the transfer process GoDaddy says I ned to change the nameservers to:
ns45.domaincontrol.com
ns46.domaincontrol.com

I click on "edit nameservers", change them to the two above, and click "submit" but then they don't save and default to Homestead's default nameservers. How do I resolve this issue?
