9/20/13 email still not working

As many are aware email has been working sporadically all week. Today nothing is working from my outlook 2010 program and only 1 email has come through on the webmail portal and android phone. I saw a post were it was recommended to switch email to an outside service for additional cost. What is the status of homestead mail? Will it ever return to being functional?
