Why is my website not mobile friendly?

Supposedly everything should be mobile friendly, but it's not and when I tried to change things on the mobile side, it messed up my desktop site. I had to redo and fix every single page!

There is a separate "mobile editor" that appears when you click on advanced. The mobile version does not change the desktop version in my experience.  I will say that the reason the mobile site looks funky is that everything you do on the desktop becomes a new "layer" and will often plop your new stuff at the bottom or be out of order in each section.  You CAN move them around.  The key to keeping your mobile site and desktop consistent is to use "Containers" on the desktop editor.  These are little boxes which is the equivalent of "grouping elements"  I will be happy to walk you through it, but can't do it until Thursday now.  If you want to give me a call then, I will be able to just walk you through it.  It will be a lot faster than typing for an hour.  410-493-4984.  I am on the east coast for timing purposes.  If you don't want to wait here are two video tutorials on this subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwnvdaO5IPY ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbbdEwetRxo

Thank you so much for your response, Lynn! The mobile editor is what I was using which then messed up my desktop version. So, I have no idea why that happened. But I am definitely not a website guru, so who knows what I did wrong. I will definitely look at the video tutorials and if I can't figure it out, then I will gladly give you a call when it's convenient for you. I really appreciate your help!

I've been working on these sites for about 25 years now as part of my business!  The "recent" changes are much harder than they used to be, so I try to help as often as I can.  Happy Holiday and call me if you need to. The containers are your friend, just remember that.
