seeing stats tab for my website...old site has option, new site built for mobile version does not

seeing stats tab for my website...old site has option, new site built for mobile version and switched desktop doesnt have the view stats tab option..
  i used the function with the old site, so i know where it should be and can still see it as an option on my old site, but there is not tab that appears next to the edit site tab...?
