I need to unpublish a website

The instructions I am finding are for sitebuilder plus. I cannot find how to do it in the current site builder. I also need to release the domain.

Hello,

There is no way to unpublish a WebsiteBuilder website. You can delete or transfer the domain if someone else wants to use it. You can create a landing page that doesn't have a navigation menu, so people cannot access other pages, and you can delete the website once the domain is no longer attached to it.

The domain says it is pointed to the site. Does that mean it's not hosted on homestead? If so, I can delete the site.
