How to keep name of organization while deleting website

Because we were not able to add a PayPal component to our Homestead account, we would like to delete our Homestead account, but keep our organization's name. How do we do that?

I am guessing you mean you wish to keep your domain name.  If your domain name was bought at Homestead, don't delete your account quite yet.  Decide where you want it to live (i.e., GoDaddy, Wix, etc) then there are the options at the "new" place to transfer your domain name from wherever it is currently residing. Once that transfer is complete then you can cancel your homestead service.  The website you built in Homestead will forever live in limbo, or you can delete it once the domain name is separated from it THEN cancel.   IF you purchased your domain name from another company (like GoDaddy) your domain name is already separated from your Homestead hosting account, and all you have to do is put in new Domain Name Servers (DNS) to point to your new site.  Hope that helps.

Hello,

You could alternatively downgrade your Homestead account to Domain-Only hosting. It would require you to delete the content of the website. It would cost $14.99/year. Please call 1-800-710-1998 if you would like to take this option.
