ENGINEERING REVIEW NEEDED: Website Builder — activity in Manage Products and Orders causing damage to Page in Editor

Needing an engineering review. We are noticing a distressing, intermittent but recurring issue in Website Builder. Earlier this month and on multiple occasions, when we were in the Editor > Store > Manage Products and Orders working in Orders and Settings there, we've discovered our Store landing page back in the Editor was being affected:

1. The uppermost sections of the design content (Sections 1 & 2) disappeared
2. The Store tab in the upper navigation disappeared as if hidden, and reappeared
3. The bottommost sections of the design (Section 4, Site Section A, and Footer) moved up to the top of the page
4. Section A (the products grid) moved down to the bottom of the page

More than a year ago we had an unexplained calamity when the entire Store with all Products disappeared, and we had to reset the site from Saved History and lose / rebuild a month of updates to address. Customer Service was never able to explain this, but now I am thinking that there is some kind of glitch in Manage Orders and Products that can cause havoc in the Editor without actually being in the Editor. 

Has anyone else had this happen? And can someone pop the hood and look into this?
