Domains

I forgot to write down the name of the Tech that assisted yesterday, but our website is finally available when I publish it. I do still have a couple of issues though. The new website is not secure. Part of the info when creating a new page using Website Builder, stated that the website would be secure. I had also informed the Tech that when I go to the Domains, it will not allow me to add contact info for that domain. The Domain shows "We are unable to register your domain at this time", so it won't allow me to add contact info to it. What needs to be done to register the domain? I don't want to run into more issues because that isn't correct. Thank you

To register a domain name, choose a registrar, brainstorm and check the availability of your desired domain name and extension, then provide your contact information, choose a registration length, and complete the purchase. You will need to verify your email and contact information to finalize the registration.
Step-by-step guide
  1. Choose a domain registrar: Select a company accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) that manages domain names for you. Examples include GoDaddy and Namecheap.
  2. Select a domain name: Choose a name that represents your brand or website. It is recommended to brainstorm a few options.
  3. Check for availability: Use the registrar's search tool to see if your desired name, along with your preferred extension (like .com), is available.
  4. Add to cart and create an account: Once you find an available domain, add it to your cart and create an account with the registrar.
  5. Provide contact information: Fill out the registration form with your personal details. You will need to provide the registrant, administrative, and technical contact information.
  6. Choose a registration length: Select how many years you want to register the domain, typically between one and ten years.
  7. Decide on privacy settings: You can choose to add privacy protection to keep your personal contact information private in the public WHOIS database.
  8. Complete the purchase: Enter your payment information and finalize the transaction.
  9. Verify your email: Check your email for a confirmation from the registrar and click the verification link to complete the process
