I have not used the site for a while and my webpage was taken down. I have now updated it, published it but cannot view it. I get a Cloud Fare 522 error message

Cloudflare Error 522 indicates a "Connection Timed Out" between Cloudflare and your origin web server. It happens when the server fails to respond to a request within the allocated time, usually caused by blocked IP addresses, an overloaded server, or incorrect DNS settings.

  • Verify DNS Settings: Ensure the A or CNAME record in your Cloudflare DNS app matches the current IP address of your server.

If you are the site owner, you may need to contact your hosting provider to verify server uptime and check for blocked requests.

  1. Check DNS: Verify the A record in the Cloudflare DNS dashboard matches your host's IP address.

@russell5607 thanks for that. I have checked and both Cloud Fare and Homestead, the DNS details match as far as I can see.

@stephen2683 Perhaps it's another issue, as there are several possibilites. Review Google:

@stephen2683 Hi Stephen.

We checked the A record for your domain emansysuk.com and confirmed that the NS is pointed to ns3 and ns4.homestead.com. Your website was created under Website Builder, and the A record has been updated to 66.235.200.23, which resolved the issue.

The site is now working properly. Could you please confirm if you are able to view your website on your end?

Judelyn9690, I was contacted by Cloudflare saying that i needed to change my nameservers to theirs in order for Cloudflare to continue to protect me. This I did and within a few days I was back to the 522 error. Is this something at your end you can help me with? Regards Stephen

I need help with Cloudflare. They sent me an email yesterday, stating that one of my websites had been deleted. I am not very versed in all of the technicalities, have a husband in bad health in assisted living, and run a business.

I do not know WHAT to do! Please help!
