This issue turned out to be browser specific. On Chrome, Sound Cloud links do not display. On Firefox, same thing. On the evil browser Edge, it works fine. On Opera, it works fine.
It turns out that this is browser specific. SoundCloud links do not work on Chrome or Firefox. They do work on the evil Edge and also on Opera. I have some add ons in Chrome and Firefox that block ads. Maybe that is it.
