https://www.alamorcdareatex.org/ is not available at all on the internet.

Has it been working recently?

Are you using Sitebuilder plus or Websitebuilder?

I can find it using Google search: http://www.alamorcdareatex.org/location.html

and http://www.alamorcdareatex.org/index.html.

ADDING A NEW HOME PAGE:
To install the new page as your home page, select the page > Page Settings > Page Name > enter "index.html" > save. Remove the page name from your previous page.
Next, you can add the new home page to your site navigation menu by selecting the menu > Use the Site Navigation Menu Settings > Links > + to add the page > follow the instructions in the command box to locate your new home page > select the page from your files > OK. Now, you can scroll to the bottom and edit the page title. Since you have only one page, it should now be the only page on the menu and it should appear with the page title you've chosen and it will respond as the home page.
For Sitebuilder Plus sites you can use the save as option and rename the desired home page "index.html". https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/sitebuilder-plus-rename-pages
For websitebuilder, you can use these instructions. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/websitebuilder-change-home-page

PRODUCE A TITLE FOR A NEW PAGE:
Select the menu > Select "Links" From your the PROPERTIES EDITOR: > Select "+" > Browse your files and add the desired file > OK > scroll to the bottom of the PROPERTIES EDITOR: and enter your Display Name > select edit link to concur > In the command box, review file information > OK > Save > Publish.

- Add a page name to your site navigation menu: Highlight the menu > Use the PROPERTIES EDITOR: > Links > "+" to add name > Select "Style" > Font Size and style > Select "Effects" > Select Spacing > Experiment with the three spacing elements to achieve the results you're wanting.

You may want to secure your website.

Site organization tips:

HOW TO SEE ALL THE ELEMENTS ON A PAGE:
In your editor, press the CTRL key down and tap A. This will highlight all the elements on the page. You should then be able to find the text box, click on it, and delete it.

ELEMENT OUT OF RANGE:
Set your page width to 1500. Use Page Settings > Background > Insert 1500 in the Page Width element > Save.
Depress the control key and press "A" to select all elements or right-click your mouse and Select All. By doing this you'll have outlined all the elements. If an item is out of the range of your standard page width, you see it outlined. At this time you can select that one element and move it (unlock if needed) or delete it.

IMAGE LAYERING:
Right-click the image and select a layer to move the element to the front or back.

LAYERING ELEMENTS:
Layering procedure: Select the element > right-click> choose your layering command.
The help section has no explanation for the "Bring Forward" and "Send Back" elements in the Image Setting menu. I don't think they have any purpose currently. Perhaps they did. what we've been trying to make them do, at one time. The programmers should try fixing that. It's very misleading. Also, there's no other explanation for layering. Layering is an excellent feature. Now you know how to use it, you'll find many applications for it.

I see you are still using SiteBuilder.  You might seriously think about revamping the site into Website Builder (you can't transfer, you do have to copy your current content and save the docs & photos onto your own computer first) and it will surely feel like a pain, but the newer software is more modern, works well and is automatically mobile friendly.  You seem to need to activate your SSL certificate too since the site is showing not secure.  The weird type that shows up looks like something that shows all the commands you used to make spaces, paragraphs and stuff.  I haven't seen it in a long time, but that's what it looks like to me.  I don't remember if or how you do that in Sitebuilder.  Perhaps a technician could tell you at 800-710-1998.   Russell's instructions are pretty throrough above. You can try that.  If it's easier, I could possibly help you walk through a few things if you feel like calling me in the next week.  I am on the east coast.  410-493-4984.

I am having the same problem.  I have very many pages, and I need a way to change it sitewide so everything gets corrected at once.  It is tabs, apostrophes, etc. that are messing up.

Were you able to resolve the gibberish formatting issue?  Someone else is having the same problem and I don't see if you were able to fix it.  If you did fix it, how did that get done so that I can tell them?

I'm having the same issue. Out of nowhere. I've been with homestead for over 20 years. WTF is happening and how can we fix it? Where is this option for Websitebuilder? I'm on MAC and it only shows me SiteBuilder on the website as an option. Help!

I agree with Russell. Instead of fighting with that old SiteBuilder platform, take the plunge for Website Builder. Ultimately it will take less time and you will be happier with the result.  You should be able to build in Website Builder within your own account, depending on the package you currently have and when you are done, you can just re-associate your domain with the new and improved site.  Good luck with it.  I am sure you will like it.

thanks for the link and input, but I'm not "taking the plunge" when they had a change that has made my website useless, no warning, no way to fix, and now they want MORE money to try their other builder that I can't even test out first. Nope. Gonna call Monday to see if they can help fix it or this is the last straw and time for me to take my business to a company who appreciates it and has better MAC functionality and updated build options. Their design options at homestead have been outdated for almost half of the 22+ years I've been with them now. Super disappointed this is how its gone. Maybe even worse than the email server debacle a while back. Ugh.

I have had to take each page of my web page and go line by line and remove extra spaces where the jibberish shows up. I have the page open on my phone as I change it on SightbuilderPlus on line.  It is a PAIN because every time I update the page the jibberish shows up.  I have secured all of my pages so that is not the problem. I do not know what caused the jibberish because it just popped up out of the blue.

@alma3183 I don't see any "jibberish".

I'm using the chrome browser on my computer.

https://www.alamorcdareatex.org/index.html looks good to me.

Post a snippet of what you see.

The problem may be in your browser.

Clean your browser history.

I wish I could remove it at all! I can't even see it in builder, so it shows nothing there, nothing in preview, but the website itself has ÂÂÂÂ ÂÂÂÂ everywhere. Over and over and over. Refresh, delete cookies, phone, computer... just a mess with no clear way to fix it.
