System status page not responding

We have had a number of reports from our site users that they are getting a bad gateway response when they try to complete a form. I see that there are others having similar problems. When I tried to see what the system status is, the page is "suspended". What's going on? It would be nice to have an update on a problem and when it might be solved. This is an extremely busy week for us (as I am sure it is for many online businesses).
