Site has changed

I'm trying to update our website.  I keep getting a message that says "the site has changed since you last post.  To avoid an unintended changes, the site must close and reopen to the homestead homepage."

Even if I make a small change and hit save, it isn't saving.  It keeps kicking me out.  What can I do?

It has been like this for three days now. Calling them is an exercise in futility, they are liked trained seals reading from a prepared script.

Good luck to all...

I found a way around it, click on preview then click out of it and you can edit your site.

Unfortunately for those of us that have dedicated hundreds if not thousands of hours into fine tuning our site builder websites, I think its safe to say we are at the mercy of their abilities.

Sure I can buy into a new website carrier but Id never be able to completely replicate the work I've already invested for so long, not to mention the down time or more importantly my Google page position

This is the problem when having to relying on others. Although I am not a programmer so  .. I wait.

I was able to make a change to one of my sites that uses a template that I don't love.  https://syndicatedmaps.com/ However my sites that I use my own HTML code, I am not able to update.  I have had these sites on homestead for 20+ years:  https://www.photoenforced.com/ https://www.badintersections.com/ https://www.drillingmaps.com/ https://www.solarenergymaps.com/ https://www.powerplantmaps.com/ https://www.refinerymaps.com/

I found a way around it.  First you click on preview site.  Then click out of it and you will be able to edit your site.
