I cannot log in

Something has happened in the 3 hours between me working on my website.  I was trying to add a new domain.  I walked away.  When I returned, it asked me to log back in.  I immediately received a "you have tried too many times to log in; wait 6 hours".  I just tried again this morning and again, I immediately received the same message. No matter what I do, I get the message.
