Highlight the text, delete it, or type over it.

Thank you, but my text won't highlight so I can type over or delete it. All the text is in a box that won't let me copy. The only thing that copies are the blue link words. And it won't allow me to copy the whole page to Word so I can edit it. Frustrated. Am very used to highlighting text in other websites and copying them.

@paynewriter0338 What platform are you using? SB+ or websitebuilder?

To edit text in the Homestead Sitebuilder Plus app, click on the text element you want to change. This will activate its control pane, which may show a short text editing menu. Clicking on the text again or highlighting a specific word will often bring up an extended menu with formatting options, allowing you to edit the text and apply styles like font, size, and color.

@nita1738 To change text in the Homestead SiteBuilder Plus app, navigate to the desired page, click on the text box, and either double-click inside to edit or click the "Edit" button in the top-right corner. You can then highlight text to change fonts, colors, or sizes using the toolbar.

Key Steps for Editing Text:
  • Edit Existing Text: Click the text box, then double-click to type changes.
  • Formatting: Use the text control pane to apply bold, italic, underline, or change font styles.
  • Adding Links: Highlight text, click "Link" in the Text Settings menu, and configure the URL or page link.
  • Saving Changes: Remember to publish your site to make the changes live.
