Adding New Product to My Site Doesn't Work Like It Used To

When I go to add a product to my site, I do enter all the same information I used to in the same way but when I check to see if it "took",  I get a page that has neither the product photo nor my write-up on it.  Anyone have guidance for how to fix?  Thanks --
