When uploading documents can't find new upload

When uploading a document it shows the upload happening but not always does it show the file or doc pdf etc that I just uploaded, i have to search down and hit show more multiple times looking for it, I wish tehre was a way to have the uploaded docs go into an ABC order or newest at the top row so most recently uploaded is in the top row or something.
