Recently when someone submits form on my website they don't get a the submit message and it just clears the page so they don't think it went through but it does.  What is happening.

I did learn something that might help. I remembered, after a person sent my form submission, it would take them to a page that thanked them.

So I used my site template, saved it as Thank You and published it. I then copied the web address, went to my form page, and clicked on the Submit button that contains html text (I think I remember HS had a page/button to use for that.

Clicking on the button opened up a dialog Box called Submit Button Settings. Scrolling shows a label, and image choices could be used (I did not) under those is a thank you page with a box to select a webpage, An arrow will let you put in any page that is on your site.

I wanted a real Thank You page, so as I said above, I had created one, I put in the web address for that page. (there is an option to check text - I did not) The rest of the block is self explanatory. Close and save then publish.

Anyone who fills out my form page ( shown here  https://cngw.biz/signin.html#Sign-In  ) and hits the submit button will land on this page now  https://cngw.biz/thankyou.html

Back to working like I wanted it to. No idea how long it had been acting up. Since the forms did come to my email, I would not have known about this unless Christine had written about her problem.

I guess this forum is worthwhile after all. I hope this helps someone else. Greg

My form submission has not worked since mid June. I don’t get notified anymore when someone submits a form. I now have to check the builder twice a day to see if someone submitted a form. I hope there will be a fix for this very soon.

Same problem with me. I had no idea I was not receiving submissions until several people told me recently.

I just went to my site, sent myself a form. After SEND, I landed on a page that said

"The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

Checked mail, got a msg that said "You have made changes to the form located at: https://cngw.biz/signin.html Your old form submissions for this form have been saved in signin~09012024 151305.csv. New form submissions will be sent to  signin.csv.  Regards, The Homestead Team

ALSO got a 2nd mail to me with the form I filled out, MORE CRAZY HS CRAP!

Russell, I posted a solution above. The form page needs a landing page. Could  you or someone mark it with solution found so others can fix their site? Thank you, Greg

I had that problem after it working for many many years.  Had not gotten forms to my email in  all of June. Then found them in the builder program under the link managing-submissions . Tried a few things to fix it, including the suggestion to make a landing page, no luck. So I was stuck checking my builder program for forms every day.
A few weeks ago I tried working on it again, sure enough, it now didn’t send the forms to my AOL address anymore ( it had been working for years) I finally created an email through homestead, belonging to that particular website.  During the process it asked me if I wanted the emails forwarded, I put in my aol address and sure enough, my forms go to the new email address and instantly to my aol address. Now I don’t have to check all over the place to see if someone filled out the form.

What if you don't want to send them to a thank you page? Why isn't it just using the text entered at the bottom of the settings for "success" and "error"? It used to do it that way and one of my forms still is, just not the rest. Makes no sense.
