Sitebuilder Plus: View File Manager

Sitebuilder Plus: View File Manager

Here's how you find the file manger:

    1. Click on the Websites Manager in the left navigation menu. Then, click Edit Site.

    2. Click your domain name or sitename at the top. Then, choose View File Manager from the drop-down menu.

How do I upload a power point to my website in site builder?.

You can upload the file to the File Manager as shown here. Then just create a standard link to the file.

If you are imagining the PPT presentation being viewed online like it's part of the website, you'll have to convert it to a web friendly format. Depending on your version of PPT, you may be able to just click Save As and convert it to html, while later versions of PPT do not allow this. Here's a link that may help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980553

The answer to “Where is the file manager located?”, shown in the help topics here ...
https://community.homestead.com/homes...

... is no longer valid as Sitebuilder Plus no longer looks like this.

Please advise where I can find the File Manager in the newest version of Sitebuilder Plus.

Thank you.

If you designed the site with other software, you can still host it with us, but you will have to upload all the site files through Homestead's SiteBuilder software using the File Manager as shown above.

Finding my file manager without downloading software.

I'm working online with Firefox as I have an Apple computer and cannot download your software. I want to find my file manager and can't. When I go to the pulldown menu I have only two options: download the software or work online. I don't see an option for file manager. Can anyone help?

Use the file manager to create a folder and then enter the folder and you can then import pictures from your hard drive in bulk.

LECUSA2454,

You can import 3rd party web pages and other files directly into the file manager. Follow the steps above to access the file manager.

This is possible. You'll just have to upload all of your files into the Homestead SiteBuilder File Manager as shown above.
