MP4 Player never starts on 1st page opened

I Insert a video player within my editor, then select the MP4 from my file, My video looks good but I noticed that the webpage from the browser of my choice (Google), I click my link positioned page and the video doesn't play upon opening, now if I click another page from that recently opened page of my web search, the page videos do start playing automatically as they should.

I have all the properties selected for playing automatically, repeat continuously, show controls and auto load when page is viewed.

Does it take the page from a browser (page1) to start the playing process and a second linked page (page2) to begin the auto play video effect.

Its only the initial opening of the website where the video doesn't load it seems.

Please explain the phenomena.

Thanks, Mark

Hello Russell,

Thank you for your input.

Actually I'm using the Insert choice media player from the YouTube selection.

The other video insert from the more .. area is a media player which does not support MP4 or there's the HTML selection which allows me to use a code snippet from an outside provider like Venmo or YouTube, those I try but still the same result with no automatic play.

For the most part the video plays well on my publicized pages, I've just noticed sometimes they play and sometimes they don't.

Maybe  its a result of some sort of corruption from my editing method. The thing is the issue is not always consistent, Its like a loading timeframe thing.

Either way I can live with it, I like the video format I'm using, more than the annoyance of its un reliability.

Thank you, Mark

Maybe this will help.

AUDIO FILE PLAY AUTOMATICALLY:
This does happen sometimes with older audio players. Please delete the audio player and add a more updated version. The instructions are in this article:

AUDIO PLAYER SETTINGS:
Use the PROPERTIES EDITOR:
Whenever you click an element the properties editor appears on the right > Select your play options.

Hello,

You can try deleting and re-adding the video, but other than that, it is likely something in the browser that is causing this.
