Captions for Image Gallery

I'm trying to add captions to the images in my photo gallery, but when I select a thumbnail, I see nowhere to add a caption. Help?

To add captions to your images, you need to click on the entire photo gallery element, not the individual thumbnail images inside it. When you select an individual thumbnail directly on your page layout, the option won't appear. [1] Here is exactly how to find the caption field in Homestead Sitebuilder Plus: Log into Sitebuilder Plus and navigate to the page containing your image gallery. Click once on the overall photo gallery element. This will trigger the blue outline around the container and open the Properties Editor on the right-hand side of your screen. Look at the Basics tab in that right-hand menu. You will see a vertical text list showing the names of your uploaded images. Click the image name from that list for the photo you want to caption. Type your text into the Caption field located directly underneath that image list.
