My site is not found on Google search. Why?

The only way my site is found on Google search is by typing the site name.  I have entered keywords on many pages including the Index page of my site but it does not work.  Any of those keywords typed on Google search is not found.  I have reported this problem many times before on Homestead but I have never received an explanation that worked. After weeks and months of trying in vain I have abandoned the idea of getting found on Google.  I now report to my clients that my web provider Homestead does not offer that service.  Is it possible now to be found on Google search using some specific keywords other than the website name.  If so, how can it be done?  Thanks
