Getting 404 error despite making only text changes (nothing technical)

I updated some wording on the website. Nothing technical (i.e. not java tag stuff, no domain stuff, etc).  I clicked on "Save & Publish" and I got the below message from Homestead.  Now, my actual webpage (www.enmotionperformance.com) is no longer working (404. Refused to connect error).  However, upon clicking that "Save & Publish" button it gave me the below message.  When I click on that link: HSTrial-MHillxxxxxxx, it takes me to my webpage.
So, what happened? Why has Homestead all of a sudden started redirecting to this new website?  I need this fixed ASAP and being Memorial Day Weekend~ I don't know what to do.
Anyone else have this happend? How do I fix it?

This website is working: http://www.enmotionperformance.com/.

Can you see it now?

http://www.enmotionperformance.com/ is not a secure website.

Do you want to make it secure. You probably should.

MAKE YOUR SITEBUILDER PLUS WEBSITE SECURE: Cloudflare can be used to add a free SSL. Please refer to these instructions. https://community.homestead.com/conversations/sitebuilder-plus/can-i-secure-my-homestead-website-with-https/5f2a9b1658180958845a60de.

Hello Russell5607.
Thank you for your response.  I did get it resolved (as you noted) by doing the suggested steps provided.  However, whenever I do any update to my website (no matter how small) , it loses connection with the website and I have to do this step.  While I am glad to have a solution, I need to reach out to HS to provide a longer term solution as there should be away to avoid this altogether as it must be a known issue since they have created a solution.

We have no transactional data on our website so there isn't a security risk for it being only http (i.e. we ask for no visitor data). However, I have noticed that SEO is increasingly using https as a way to decide if a website is legit or not.
Is there any cost to my doing as you suggested and using Cloudflare? You noted it was free for the Https element but I kinda expect there to be some charge somewhere...you know the saying "there is no such thing as a free lunch".
Anyhow, thank you for your suggestion and I will look into it.

Hmm. Those steps are for a 404 error issue for WebsiteBuilder sites, so it shouldn't have had an affect on your website. I do believe this is just the preview site that our builder displays when a website is published, which may not be working properly since your domain is pointing to Homestead from a 3rd party registrar. Next time you publish, please disregard that page and go to your website URL directly. Let me know if it isn't working after you publish.

TLDR: I get the 404 error when going directly to my web-pate.

Hi.  When I publish, I am disregarding the page and going to my website URL directly which then gives me the 404 error.  The first time it happened I called into the Helpline and they said I had "too many subdomains". This didn't make sense to me as I didn't feel I had done anything that would impact my subdomain but they fixed it on their end and all was well and I moved on.  The next time I made a change to my website, exact same thing happened but this time I searched within the community rather than call the tech line and came across the solution I mentioned above.

Thoughts/suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

That's odd. From what I can see, you don't have any subdomains.

I just tested publishing and your website is still active for me. When you publish, please make sure that the option to view page after publishing is unchecked.

I want to delete my pages created with the old sitebuilder and build a new one. I still want to have the same name...(my name) I decided to delete the old pages but it wouldn't allow me because its attached to a domain. How do I do this?

What is your website address?

404 ERROR:
404 page does not count toward your page allotment.
Per Google: https://www.google.com/search?num=30&site=webhp&source=hp&q=404+error&oq=404&gs_...
"The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly."
Generally there's no need to make any adjustment. Removing the 404 page may disable your customer to be directed to your site. 404's may be produced by page name changes.
