email issues

My computer crashed and I got a new computer, and loaded the 2019 outlook back onto it.  When I added the email to download, it is now syncing with the webmail, including adding all my folders and adding back all the emails I've saved to my desktop.  I don't want them to stay in the webmail.  How do I fix this?  this  wasn't happening on my old system.

Because this is happening, my webmail is at 100%.  I have deleted many many old emails but when i empty the trash and go back to the inbox, it's back to 100%.  I think it's because of the syncing.

Hello,

Unfortunately, you will probably just have to manually remove them again from Webmail. We don't have a way to undo this syncing to an email client from our end.

If I undo it in the webmail, it also does that in my outlook.  I want my Outlook to save all my folders and older emails.  I DON"T want them to remain on the webmail server.  How to fix that please??
