I need help to solve the problem with my site!
My site unexpectedly started showing hieroglyphs when opening! https://www.termovisionpuls.com/Contact-Us.html When checking the site in the PREVIEW sitebuilder, everything is normal and the texts open in normal Cyrillic! https://thermovisionpuls.homestead.com/Contact-Us.html

It is extremely rare for the encoding of an entire database to change without direct intervention or modification. This usually requires specific commands or tools that purposefully change the way data is stored and interpreted.
Possible (but unlikely) scenarios:
Database Software Error: Although rare, it is theoretically possible for a database software bug or error to cause an unexpected encoding change. This usually happens with major updates or in very specific circumstances.
Misconfiguration of the server: If the server hosting the database is misconfigured, this can lead to encoding interpretation problems. For example, if the server is set to expect one encoding, but the data is in another, this can cause display issues.
Malware: In very rare cases, malware may attempt to modify the database encoding to disrupt the website or make the data inaccessible.
Why does "preview" show Cyrillic normally?
The "preview" feature probably uses a different mechanism to display the content than the actual website. It may have built-in encoding settings that automatically fix the problem. Also, "preview" may not use the real-time database, but a cached version of the site that was created before the encoding was changed.
What to do:
Check the database settings: I wont to Contact my hosting provider and ask them to check the database encoding settings. They should be able to confirm if there have been any recent changes or if there are any configuration issues.

I had the same issue, here was my last response on my open problem:
This is the (unacceptable) response I got from Homestead support on Monday, July 15th:
"We do understand how website is importatant to you, But as per now There was no update from our Engineers.
The fix for now is manual by removing extra spaces from the text element and using multiple text boxes to format text instead of spacing inside of the element.
HOMESTEAD SUPPORT"
I had to manually redo nearly all of my text boxes across 4 pages, and (also unacceptable) had to remove all changes in formatting within the same text box...no bold, italic, or font color change in the same box...or it displays the special characters. Creating multiple text boxes that have to be manually aligned in order to complete a single sentence with some basic formatting is ridiculous.

Hello,
Can you send a screenshot of what you're seeing? I looked at the URL you posted and didn't see any issues. Also, what browser are you using?

Hello,
There is a ticket created to investigate and resolve this issue, but the engineers need more time to work on it. I'll update here on Community when I get any word of a resolution.

There has been a problem with weird text lettering for the last few months. We're waiting for Homestead/web.com to post a solution. One customer claimed that eliminating punctuation between letters solved his problem. Homestead/web.com hasn't posted a solution. Try this and let us know if it works for you.
"Edit the text box, remove excess spaces between letters and words, leaving no unnecessary punctuation."

Russell, it appears I was wrong! One of so many times in my life. I went to my site and the A's problem appears fixed. See my post. Damn, good deal. I have already modified about a dozen of my old pages. I will leave them for awhile until I see if the "fix" is permanent. Take care my man, keep plugging away on the other problems here. Greg

По лесния начин беше да направя нов сайт и да го публикувам ,което и направих и проблема ми беше решен 1Стария сайт беше със стария сайтбилдър.
The easy way was to make a new site and publish it, which I did and my problem was solved ! The old site was with the old sitebuilder.

No....it was not necessary to make new site!! Ask many of who just viewed all of out OLD pages displaying properly. My pages, and other people's are showing properly with the old site builder!
The problem (caused deliberately or not, we will never know at this point) was "resolved" and all is well with the old build.
Again, we owe this to a ton of pressure from a ton of people who were on here moaning and groaning for days/weeks--- and doing way too much typing!!. Some of that may have brought about this change. If they had just folded, walked away like I did (and you did) to "rehabilitate" my old pages to work - this may not have been "fixed!" Hope we are this lucky in the future! Greg
