How do I embed my own video into my website?

I have two questions as they relate to adding video reels into my website.  First, is it possible to add your own video clip that is not from Youtube etc?  When I click to insert the element "video", it directs me to the "video gallery" or to either Youtube or to Vimeo.

My second question is whether or not it is possible to have your own video running in the background OR occupying its own section above the footer?  I have seen this done on other sites where the video runs in a loop.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Per Google:
To embed a video on your Homestead website, upload it to a service like YouTube or Vimeo, and then use either the provided share URL or embed code to insert the video into your site using the website builder.
Method 1: Embed using a video URL
  1. Go to your video on a platform like YouTube or Vimeo.
  2. Copy the video's URL from the address bar.
  3. In your Homestead website editor, go to Elements and find the Video option.
  4. Drag the video element to the desired location on your page.
  5. Click the video and select Change Video.
  6. Paste the URL into the provided field and click OK
