Since at least 2:00 pm CST on 12/14/2025, email sent from our Homestead-hosted email accounts is not getting delivered.

Since at least 2:00 pm CST on 12/14/2025, email sent from our Homestead-hosted email accounts is not getting delivered.  On two of our accounts (via POP [on iMAC] or IMAP[on iPhone]), the email appears to be sent correctly, but the email never gets delivered.  On a third account, I get a password error on the account if trying to send emails via POP or IMAP, but not via WebMail.  Emails sent via WebMail (which we normally do NOT use) seem to get delivered.

Emails sent from our Homestead-hosted email accounts via POP or IMAP over the last 5 hours (since about 2:00 pm CST) remain lost in transit and have not been delivered.

One of our Homestead-hosted email accounts has been failing with a false password error when trying to send emails via POP or IMAP over the  last 5 hours.  The same password works on Homestead's Webmail.

Support is telling me that the issue is on our devices and that we have to update the email client account on all five of our devices (2 iPads, 2 iPhones, and 1 iMac) for all of our Homestead-hosted email accounts, apparently, as best as I can make out, because supposedly all five of our email clients are encrypting the account's password.

I have now had two more phone calls with Tech Support, totaling close to 2 hours.  The issue is not resolved.  Near the end of the third phone call, Tech Support said they have 77 open tickets on SMTP server issues since Friday, and now, beginning during the support phone call, when I send test messages from my accounts on our iMac email client (running Tahoe) , they appear to get "sent" but stay in the Outbox folder with no error message, which is a new behavior.  From earlier today and yesterday, I have multiple emails in my Sent mail folder on both iPads and 2 iPhones and 1 iMac that did not get delivered.  And 3 test emails sent between 10:48 am and 11:08 am DID get delivered, but the remaining emails from before and after that time period still have not been delivered.

I got that error message as well but have not been able to replicate it again. That said, I was able to send a test email from my Mac and the receiver got it.  Yet I can send from my iphone and my partner can't send from his PC.  Incredibly bizarre.

Except for 3 or 4 emails, we haven't been able to send emails from our Homestead-hosted email accounts for 28 hours now.

About 6 hours ago, DURING my third call to Homestead Support, our emails started getting stuck in the Outbox folder.  Prior to that, they would move to the "Sent" folder, but would never get delivered.  Now they get stuck in the Outbox.

This is getting a little ridiculous.  I have the same problem as you.  guy tried to convince me it was microsoft.   i deleted my email on my phone to reinstall and now I can't even re install my email address as it can't find the server.

They convinced me to change the passwords on two of my accounts (on 4 devices).  It didn't help,

HOWEVER, in the last hour, it seems they may have fixed the problem.  I've been able to get several emails to send and get delivered.

Good luck on getting yours restored. Maybe the following, which Support sent me, will help in your configuration:
